Community Activities, Support & Services

The Indian Lake Community Church and the Lighthouse at ILCC is a strong advocate by offering and delivering community support to the region. From financial to spiritual support, we offer multiple ways our membership can and does actively work to support and raise the quality of life right here at the lake, in Logan County, and beyond.

Good Samaritan Outreach

  • Just as the name implies, the Good Samaritan's mission is to assist the  Indian Lake community residents in their time of need. They help people with utility payments, rent, medicine, and other items. Open on Thursday 10;30 am - 1:30 pm at the church offices.
     

FREE Community Meal

  • The Indian Lake Community Church and the Lighthouse at ILCC provide and serve a free meal open to all community residents on the last Wednesday of each month from 5 to 6:30 pm at the Lighthouse, 121 Orchard Island Road.

 

Gathering Grounds Coffee Shop

  • Open Monday-Saturday, 7 am to 4 pm, the Gathering Grounds offers a variety of coffee-based drinks and baked goods in a warm and friendly environment.  The GG is located at the corner of Orchard Island Road and Main Street in Russells Point.  
    ​

Vacation Bible School

  • Every summer, Indian Lake Community Church and the Lighthouse at ILCC holds a week-long Vacation Bible School for all children ages 3-10.
     

Salvation Army

  • The Logan County Branch of the Salvation Army is located in the Indian Lake Community Church Administrative Office at 329 E Main St, Russells Pt, OH.  The Salvation Army can assist qualifying Logan County residents with help paying utility bills, rent and assistance with prescription drugs.  We serve most Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.  Appointments can be scheduled by calling 937-407-6891.

 

Fall Festival Food Concessions

  • The Fall Festival is held at the State Park campground on the north side of the lake. The church has a food concession booth at this annual event, featuring home-cooked foods and desserts.
     

Community Rummage Sales

  • Held twice annually on the first full weekend of May and October, this community-wide sale is open to all and chock full of plenty of bargains. These sales are held on the campus of the church. 

 

Pancake Breakfasts & 4th of July BBQ

  • Led by the Men’s Club, these periodic Saturday pancake breakfasts are open to all.

  • On the 4th of July, we host a community-wide chicken BBQ feast.

 

Helping Hands

  • Helping Hands is a team of church members dedicated to helping those in the Indian Lake area who needs home repairs, exterior fixes, and overall improvements to their property.
